Last week, OpenAI introduced a new subscription plan: ChatGPT Pro. This resonated with AI enthusiasts, as you will have to pay as much as $200 per month for the top plan of the popular solution. What do we get in return? First of all, unlimited access to the most advanced solutions, concerning both voice mode and o1 and o1-mini models. In addition, ChatGPT Pro users will get access to the latest model: o1 pro. It uses more computing power to solve more complex problems. The first reviews also highlight the increased context window. According to OpenAI, it is designed to give even more reliable and comprehensive answers, especially in areas such as math, programming or other sciences.
Given the characteristics of the new subscription plan and its cost, ChatGPT Pro is worth your interest especially if you belong to one of the following groups:
– scientists and researchers – for $200 a month, you’ll ensure that you have access to the latest solutions offered by OpenAI and stay up to date with the news offered by the most recognized organization in the AI industry,
– engineers and developers – advanced data analytics and programming capabilities can significantly increase the efficiency of your code work and save you significant time,
– data analysts – with more accurate and reliable answers related to math and data analysis, ChatGPT Pro can prove to be a noticeably better working aid.
The new ChatGPT plan for existing users of the ChatGPT Plus version (paid $20 per month) means that, unfortunately, they will no longer be in the group getting the latest updates and most advanced solutions first. They will still receive more support than users of the free version, but the gap is slowly starting to narrow. In addition, it’s worth noting the recent increasing rumors about the desire to introduce ads into the free version of chat. Looking at staff movements: there may be a lot of truth in this. Unfortunately, the income statement is inexorable even for OpenAI. Does this mean more changes to the tool that brought AI under the roof? Well, we’ll probably find out soon enough.
