The emergence of ChatGPT (and consequently: topics related to AI) in the popular consciousness of even non-technical people and those not previously associated with such issues has caused much discussion: what professions will cease to exist? Is AI capable of replacing programmers? Discussions on this topic have heated up the programming community and keep coming back raising the pressure of IT workers.
In our opinion, AI will not replace programmers, and even the opposite – it will help them create even better solutions and deliver them faster. However, this will not happen automatically. It is necessary to take the first step and replace the vision of AI as a capricious master (presented by defeatists) with that of an obedient and trusted servant.
Many people associate AI directly with ChatGPT, and this is not a bad association, but it is worth being aware that there are many competing similar solutions. Besides, the rapid development of AI (or rather: the transition of this topic to the mainstream) has caused a hype for building tools using such solutions. Thanks to this, many new SaaS and applications using AI more or less consciously have seen the light of day.
In such an environment, we decided to start the ninja.dev blog.
You will ask: why ninja? 🙂
- ninjas have always been experts in their field. The topics we will cover on the blog will give the most benefit and advantage to those at a higher level of expertise, but of course will also help those who are just at the beginning of their journey.
- ninjas used a variety of tools. Likewise, we will be looking at a variety of tools in this blog, analyzing them and considering how much they are worth adding to one’s toolbox/daily tool pile.
- ninjas dressed in black. The site’s color scheme is also black, but this time we’re going for something different. 😉 Those who know and can use the latest developments are “seemingly ordinary,” relying on their knowledge and skills, but they also have extra superpowers they can use when needed.
- ninjas had supernatural abilities. It is said that ninjas were able to be invisible, teleport or even control the elements. A person with the skills we will be developing here may look a bit like that to those around them. Using multiple, top-notch tools can look like a superpower.
- ninjas were known for their precision and efficiency in action. The content we will publish here will help you act quickly and effectively.
You will ask: why dev?
The topics we will cover here will usually revolve around software development and IT in the broadest sense. Of course, many of them will be universal-easily transferable to other industries. That being said, even if you’re not strictly related to the IT industry, it’s still worth your while to follow/listen to our site. 🙂
You will ask: all right, but all in all, what specifically to expect here?
On the blog ninja.dev we will discuss all the topics that allow us to become ninjas in the industry. It won’t be about AI all the time here (unfortunately), as we don’t plan to join the sizable ranks of self-proclaimed AI experts/devs. Rather, we’ll focus on what we’ve been doing for years, which is productivity and achieving more efficient work. Of course, not infrequently this will mean using AI-related tools. We are not afraid of them and will use them, but we also don’t think it is a cure-all for all the world’s problems.
As you’ve probably figured out by now-we’ll be covering topics that are very broad and rapidly changing. We will focus on a certain slice of reality, but if you know of any other solutions or have a different opinion/feedback on the issues we describe, we will be verry grateful for every comment and discussion.
If you made it to the end-please like/comment or any other manifestation of life. 😀 If you will follow us in X, you won’t miss the next (more substantive) posts.
Ps. articles will not be generated by AI, so we apologize in advance for the more human and “erroneous” language. 😉
You are best coder
